Everything should be cleared up now though, and we can get back on track! The sun rose over the city as its residents got up, dreading another day. Though there had been no killing or hanging the night previous, it was likely that was just a fluke. So the Matoran began their new morning routine, searching the town for anything amiss. However, after hours of searching it seemed that they had been left alone again... No bodies, no blood, everyone was accounted for... Hope began to fill the Matoran's little hearts again after two days in a row with no deaths. Perhaps it was all over! So, same deal as last night. No deaths means no votes. Gathering at the square, they wuickly took account of each other, pleased to see that everyone was there. A shout rang out from the bulletin board however, and the townsfolk gathered to read the note... "Friends, we have been deceived. These past nights we have felt safe and secure, with no threats to our well-being. There is a group in town that means us harm. I am searching them out and have finally begun to find proof of their numbers. I believe them responsible for the disappearances in our fair community, and the poisoning of our ice cream. I implore you dear friends, do not do anything rash. I will protect us. -- Detective." The townspeople fell silent as they processed this new information, unsure how to proceed. "So...
