Makaru
~~~~~ Ekimu and Makuta are well loved by the people of Okoto for their Masks. But lately, Makuta's masks have fallen from their favour. [Flickr Album] I wanted to recreate them based off of their animated counterparts, as well as in the style of my Takua. I gave Ekimu a prosthetic arm [that he of course made] because I felt it made sense for his character to have one, and there really isn't enough disabled characters in media doing great things. Millennium
Those feet...I love how, despite sharing the same semi-identical build, you managed to gave them character not just with the differents masks, colors and weapons, but with the simple addition of shin armor decoration. Storm Verse
I'll give you credit for making Ekimu not a generic "Toa Ekimu" build. Interesting builds, some of the techniques (shin armor, feet) do look a little weird to me. Quote Currently entering Phase One, with 3% chance of complete personality breakdown. Makaru
That beautiful lighting... HHHHHHHNNNNNNNNNGGGG Entirely an accident! I was trying to get good pictures at night for no reason other than that I was impatient to post them online, and all I had for lighting at the time was a couple of LED flashlights. I'll give you credit for making Ekimu not a generic "Toa Ekimu" build. Interesting builds, some of the techniques (shin armor, feet) do look a little weird to me. I wanted to give the feet a more "classic" 2-toed look because who doesn't like 2001-era Matoran right? The shin armour is there to fill out the gaps and attempt to blend the years together into some sort of cohesive build.
