LEGO Nexo Knights Building Event Coming to Toys"R"Us

Recommended Posts

Toys"R"Us stores in the United States will be holding a LEGO Nexo Knights building event next Saturday, February 20 from 12–2pm. Visitors will be invited to build LEGO Nexo Knights shield dock and bring it home at no cost. There will also be Nexo Powers for you to scan in-store with the Merlok 2.0 app. And don't worry, Canadian LEGO fans — you'll get this same opportunity on Saturday, February 27 from 11am–1pm. Note that children get priority at these events, but adults have generally been allowed to participate in the past. Follow the links above for further details!

I've already marked my calendar so I can take my son. We'll just need to find his kindle so he can scan the powers...

At some point you realize that you are but a speck in the Universe.

That you time in this worlds is but a blink.

You see the whole of reality as it unfolds before you.

You try to see how far you can reach, and it’s not that far past your face.

But then you come back from the brink.

You hold them in your arms again.

And you know that you are where their world begins.

You are their rock.

...Does anyone know if TRU would have a problem with an adult attending without a child? I really want those pieces.

I have been to these building events without any problem in the past, and so have other adults in some of the Facebook groups I'm in. Policies and how they're enforced might vary from store to store (in some cases I hear adults have to wait until all the children in line have a chance to build, which is probably a good policy for stores to have), but from what I've heard there tend to be more than enough sets for everyone who arrives on time.

Awesome, thanks!

I'm hoping they'll let me and both my kids build one.

I'm hoping they'll let me and my children each build one. The odd thing is the image shows the Nexo Power in blue but http://www.spyrius.org/nexo/ has that power listed under Lance.

Huh. That is unusual. That said, it doesn't look bad in blue. I'd chalk it up to a last-minute decision or miscommunication by either the app development team or the team responsible for the actual production of these shields.

It could be because it's a Toys R Us exclusive and blue is their color. So the stuff in the set is mostly blue.

We just got back. Other than the build and the "scavenger hunt" for powers not much went on.

This is what you get.

Yeah the Nexo power is a sticker.

The end result is about what you would expect.
