Hapori Tohu
LEGO Dimensions takes a whole bunch of different characters from their own universes and smashes them together in one place so they can save the world. To do this you need a Toy Pad, and the one they give you the instructions for is pretty cool and all, but isn't the whole point of LEGO to build your own unique creations? The team at ReBrick seems to think so, and that's why they recently launched the Build Your LEGO Dimensions Gateway contest, which challenges you to design your own portal for your Dimensions characters to use. You have until May 9th to submit your entry, so that's a little over a month to get building! If you don't have Dimensions, you can still enter, as long as you keep the same base dimensions as the actual portal. The winner gets a 20-inch tall brick-built Doctor Who minifigure of the Twelfth Doctor, with some other prizes for second and third place. Good luck! Rakrondewl
I have two really cool ideas for this contest even though I don't have the game. My only question is how many entries can one person have, I assume just one but there have been contests were you could enter more. For those who are thinking about entering but don't have the game pad, here is a LDD file with it built. I have also shared this link in the comments section of the contest. This should give anyone interested a jump start. http://www.us.lego.com/en-us/gallery/6687df49-a7d9-4066-a855-ec08235633d3?index=2&categoryId=64929898-C52F-49D8-B106-C0C36314093C
