Hapori Tohu
We're taking a look at another LEGO Star Wars set today, and it's once again from the third series of Microfighters. The 75128 TIE Advanced Prototype flies straight out of Star Wars Rebels in its miniature form, ready to take on those pesky insurgents. Is this mini set a worthy addition to your fleet? Or should it be scrapped in favor of a different ship design? Watch our video and read our review to find out! Toa Smoke Monster
For a $10 Star Wars set, this looks good. I like the look of the ship, and while the minifig isn't the best, he's still kind of neat IMO. Thanks for the review! Tarn
I thought flick-fire missiles weren't a thing anymore? Unless I'm just out of the loop. Quote [BZPRPG] (shout out to max)
Lyichir
I thought flick-fire missiles weren't a thing anymore? Unless I'm just out of the loop.Flick-fire missiles are still used occasionally, though not as often as they were before Lego started introducing so many alternate shooter designs. Most of the Microfighters have used flick-fire missiles in lieu of other shooter designs. And there are still upcoming sets that use them as well, such as the Nexo Knights Glob Lobber which uses them to launch Globlins (with a more substantial trigger mechanism so that you don't have to flick the missile itself). That's not even getting into the many sets that use the missile piece as something other than a missile, like this year's Pohatu (who uses the missile piece to attach the boulder to the chain for his flail weapon).
