W.A.M.W
So yeah, this is my first MOC I'm posting on BZpower (I first posted it on Flickr, which was the first time I ever posted a MOC online). This is my first "Titan" MOC, and the MOC I'm most proud and satisfied with. I apologize in advance if the photo looks fuzzy (like I said, first time EVER posting a MOC online). I will be posting the background story for this character and my other MOCs (which I will also be posting very soon) on the forums. Without further ado, Teridax the Risen. I also apologize if you wanted more than just front views of the MOC. Anyway, I hope you like the MOC, and I do appreciate feedback, since I just recently began my MOC-making hobby.
Huichelaar
The torso looks a little bit cluttered. I'm not feeling very comfortable with the silver armour pieces it's got next to the orange skeletal carcass. It feels like they poke out a bit too much which gives the torso a strange shape. I see a lot of work went to building the whole thing.
W.A.M.W
I didn't know what else to use for the torso to make it more bulkier. You see, I forgot the existence of BrickLink after someone told me about it at BrickUniverse, which before that, I had to buy sets in order to get the pieces I needed for my MOC (for example, the main reason why I bought Onua, Uniter of Earth was to get those two purple skeletal plates). Like I said, I'm new to the MOC-making hobby. I thank you for your feedback, though. Edited April 16, 2016 by Ekimu_Toa_of_Creation
Ghidora131
I would suggest removing the light bluish grey wheel rims on the shoulders, but it's not too shabby for a newcomer. Nicely done.
W.A.M.W
Thanks Ghidora. I didn't really know what else to use for the shoulder pads (but I may have an idea for it now). Once again I do appreciate feedback if anybody else has any. Edited April 17, 2016 by Ekimu_Toa_of_Creation
Shadow Destroyer
I actually really like the build you have on this! The legs look very sturdy, and I like the design elements of the lower torso. If you could find a way to make the upper torso a little skinnier, and perhaps bulk up the biceps a bit more, this would look even better. Very nice work for a first post however. I look forward to seeing more of your creations! Quote Thank you to the Dark Beings Banner and Avatar Shop for the banner! The Invisible Handman
Yeah he feels messy, the purple on the ankles needs replacing. Torso feels too big for the arms. W.A.M.W
I have recently started being a MOCist (is that the term to describe a person who creates MOCs or is it something else?), so I apologize if my MOCs turn out not like really great ones other people make. I am reworking on this MOC as we speak (and I think I will finish it when I get the pieces from BrickLink and when the Summer sets come). The Invisible Handman
No need to apologize for what you build. I'm sure you'll improve quickly, after all building something of this size for an early MOC is impressive. I think this guy should be much better after you beef up the arms or slim the rest of him, but in the end what improvements you make are your choice. Junior Shark
Great MOCs! Have you written the story for them yet? I definitely want to check that out. If you want to post even bigger pictures of your creations, you should make a Flickr account. One of the best parts of Flickr is that you can upload almost as many pictures as you want! W.A.M.W
I haven't written the story yet, but I have created a Flickr account. The url is "Ekimu_Toa_of_Creation" without the quotes around it. Thanks for the nice feedback though, Junior Shark.
