Logan McOwen
Ekimu the Mask Maker My take on both forms of Ekimu the Mask Maker, a coveted character of G2 Bionicle lore. Okotan form Click to show Ekimu's normal size. This model is designed with his appearance in the 2015 webisodes in mind, with no gearbox so as to be in-keeping with the style of building used with the Protectors, and also to mimic his character model in BIONICLE: Mask of Creation. Pose, Hammer raised Front Back Pose, Attacking with burial mask Pose, Blocking with shield Skeleton, Shoulder build Toa Form Click to show This model is my take on the upcoming Ekimu set for 2016, which is designed to negate the factors of the set's design that I am displeased with (the stud shooter-less hammer, the overuse of trans. light blue and the use of the 2016 Toa torso shell). Both faces of his hammer can be fired independently, and the hammer's head rotates at the base. The hammer is also intended to either be held in both of Ekimu's hands for sideways swinging, or just the one so it can be swung up and down. FrozenPancake_
These are some incredible designs! I particularly appreciate Toa Ekimu's Chima armor. It works really well for the character because it looks like royal armor. Moreover, the Zamor sphere in the chest emulates the heartlight on his Okotan form, thus maintaining complete aesthetic consistency. I also dig your Okotan Ekimu revamp, I love how accurate it is to the animations! Props to you, sir! 1 Quote A big thank you to Toucan Sam for the Okotian name. FatoraktheChronicler
I love these designs! It's just a shame you got rid of the gear box on the Protector-sized Ekimu. I really felt that helped differentiate him from the rest of the Protectors, you know? The Toa one, though. That's a MAJOR improvement and the Chima armor works excellently. 1 Quote Hey, I'm Fatorak. I made this account back in November for the Golden Mask contest, but I decided I might as well use it for something more useful. So yeah, I'm gonna be more active on here, or at least TRY to be! Toa Onuto
I love the shoulder armor! And I like the double-barreled hammer. Edit: Removed extra line. Oops! Edited April 21, 2016 by Toa Onuto
-Windrider-
My only suggestion would be, perhaps, to fill out the back of the Okotan form Ekimu a tad; at certain angles from the front it looks "empty," so to speak. Otherwise, excellent, and the Toa form is simply mesmerizing. PS - we now have a "more" tag that you can use instead of spoilers to hide large amounts of content. [more=Display here]Text to be hidden[/more] I updated the two spoiler tags in your first post; feel free to tweak them.
The Invisible Handman
Okotan Ekimu looks a bit gangly with those long limbs. Toa Ekimu looks pretty good. 1 Quote {Brickshelf Page - BZPRPG Profile - HFRPG Profile - Project Protodermis Profile}
