This Saturday will be the 400th anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare, and to honor the playwright's enduring legacy, LEGO has released a

presenting the balcony scene from "Romeo and Juliet", Nick Bottom's transformation from "A Midsummer Night's Dream", and the witches' introductory cauldron scene from "Macb—" errr... "the Scottish play" — with a humorous LEGO twist. Follow the link above or read on to see what happens!

Wait, what? Why the name switch on Macbeth? [ :P] This isn't some PC nonsense, I hope...

Legend has it that if you name the Scottish play by name on stage horrific curses befall the crew/cast/performance.

 

And by legend has it, I mean that it's happened more than we care to admit (the most recent example of adhering to the supersticion being Michael Fassbender in the movie adaptation of the Scottish play) :P
