Hapori Tohu
Earlier this week, digital news site Quartz published two interviews with LEGO model designer/master builder Erik Varszegi. In the first, he discusses his background and his 21-year career at the LEGO model shop in Enfield. In the second, he discusses what he considers the seven best LEGO brick designs, based on a running list he's been keeping since 2004 (beginning with the beloved 1x1 roof tile or "cheese slope"). Follow the links above to see what this professional LEGO builder had to say! View the full article Quote News Forums Q&A
Xboxtravis
Of course the cheese slope is #1! Still one of the most useful bricks ever. Quote All aboard the hype train!

Aanchir
There's a 1x1 round corner tile? What set/sets was it released in? None yet, to my knowledge. It'll be appearing in some Friends sets like 41130 (as watermelon slices) and 41126 (as a pie) this summer. I'm not sure where else it might be expected to show up.
