Hapori Tohu Posted May 11, 2016 Share Posted May 11, 2016 Tim Guy Brooks, Vice President of Environmental Responsibility at The LEGO Group, recently made a blog post on the World Wildlife Fund website about the company's continuing push towards sustainability. He outlines some of the strides LEGO has already taken and reaffirms their goal of using sustainable materials in all of their products and packaging by 2030. While they aren't making any announcements just yet, it does seem like they are looking at many different options, not just for the much-beloved bricks, but also for the boxes they come in. Hopefully in the coming years we'll begin to see the fruits of their investment in this area as sustainable elements start emerging from factories that live up to the quality expectations millions of customers around the world have for the toy.
