As we all know, there are quite a few plot threads still hanging loose from 2010-ish. What unresolved things still bother you and how would you address them if you were in charge of the story? They're just kind of there and I feel unsatisfied.Maybe Pohatu and Kopaka hijack the Red Star's navigational systems and by chance crash it into the Bota Bagnan jungle and save Lewa from whatever was happening to him. Lenny7092 Posted June 3, 2016 Share Posted June 3, 2016 (edited) 1. Pohatu and Kopaka are trapped in the Red Star 2. Lewa and the others in Bota Magna are in danger and are close to death 3. Velika is on a killing spree and wants to conquer Spherus Magna 4. Voporak got the Vahi 5. There is a creature, created by the Great Beings, called the Marander, threatening to destroy the Toa 6. Gelu and his teams of Toa are fighting a group of Vorox for their lives while Orde is trying to learn who is the Great Being that one of the Vorox, Krabua, knew. I believe that's that. For future things, I believe there are continuation-related solutions to these unresolved things: 1. Pohatu and Kopaka will meet revived people in the Red Star. They would attempt to crash land the Star to go back to Spherus Magna. 2. Lewa and his gang would be going to survive their deadly problems as Lewa would perhaps escape from the savage Agori while his gang in the Ignika-cursed Great Being's fortress would attempt to survive an explosion set up by Velika. The gang would find and capture the Great Being. Lewa would also reunited with the gang. 3. Toa and Glatorian would work together to stop Velika. Things would be difficult if Velika, as a Matoran, would find a way to transform into a Toa Nuva to defend himself. The heroes would still attempt to defeat Velika. 4. Voporak would try to use the Vahi, but possibly he would be stopped by the heroes. 5. The heroes would attempt to defeat the Marander. 6. Gelu and his team would eventually learn that the Great Being is Velika and attempt to kick the Vorox's butts. Later, they would find the Great Beings arriving to SM. After that, they are going to let everyone know that they found them and about Velika. So, there. The End of the story, though I would like to add some good aftermath events: 1. If Lhikan survived the crash, he would see Vakama again. Heartwarming, huh? 2. The Great Beings would probably find Angonce and put Velika and the cursed Great Being to jail. 3. According to BS01, he plans to gather army of villains and use a virus as a secret weapon, but I wonder why is he doing these things. Perhaps conquering Spherus Magna? I don't know, but I would say that when the Toa and Glatorian would notice and see this as a threat to their peace, they would be going to work together to defeat him and his army. A write-up for an initial video for a G2 plot I really wish everyone would stop trying to play join the dots with Gen 1 and Gen 2 though,it seems there's a couple new threads everyday and often they're duplicates of already existing conversations! Or simply parallel them with a slightly new 'twist'! Gen 2 is NEW, it is NOT Gen 1 and it is NOT a continuation. Outside of the characters we already have I personally don't want to see ANY old characters return. I think it will cheapen the whole experience to those of us familiar with the original line... Astrotorical Posted June 6, 2016 Share Posted June 6, 2016 See, personally, I don't think these plots are anything small that you can resolve quickly. Took them 3 movies to kill Darth Vader. Shadowed One and the Fusion are still out there. Lesovikk coulda had a nervous break down. Red Star is floating around shooting lightning at stuff. And Velika. That dude is a great being who can turn toa powers off. We all remember the last time the Toa lost their powers. Didnt think you could make a Le-Koronan depressed.He sounds like the next Teridax to me. Wouldnt surprise me if Velika wanted Teridax to take over the universe so he would be stopped, rebind the Solus Magna and land somewhere so Velika could get out and take over the other Great Beings. We also have no idea what is going on with the Element Lords, too. Has anyone else thought about the fact that the Baterra are still at large and presumably on a collision course for the Matoran and Agori? I also like how 9_Volt noted the Element Lords' continued presence. On a lesser note, we also have Surel, Takadox, Angonce, Tuma, and Strakk running around along with the now wild Rahkshi and Visorak. Not to mention Brutaka's antidermis induced condition and Varian's continued imprisonment. Given that there are probably teleporters on the Red Star unaware that they can leave, I hardly think crashing the thing into Spherus Magna is necessary...if it's even possible.
