Mate.397
http://orig10.deviantart.net/6fbe/f/2016/159/e/b/protodermis_entity_2016_by_mate397-da5fxhj.jpg The main difference between the last and the current version is the altered leg, and I like it a lot, managed to find a decent use for the HF foot design. Other then that I covered up the sticking out pins/axles, and yes I should switch out the blue pins for blacks, also sorry for some of the pictures might have a bit of a wonky focus, I'll fix that soon.Detail shots:http://mate397.deviantart.com/art/Protodermis-Entity-Leg-613803579http://mate397.deviantart.com/art/Protodermis-Entity-Torso-613804308http://mate397.deviantart.com/art/Protodermis-Entity-Back-613804357http://mate397.deviantart.com/art/Protodermis-Entity-Arm-613804416http://mate397.deviantart.com/art/Protodermis-Entity-Size-613804705http://mate397.deviantart.com/art/Protodermis-Entity-Monter-Fight-613804769
Obsessionist
Oh, shiny! I'm having trouble accessing the detail shots, but from the main picture I can tell this is a unique build. It's humanoid, but the proportions and even the torso structure are very unusual. Sometimes this is an issue, but here, combined with the coloring, I think it creates a really cool, alien vibe. I really dig the mid-torso with the central piston, and how the Hordika armor mirrors the Piraka torso on the chest. The way the feet are shaped make me think of pools of protodermis, spreading out as this entity struggles to hold its humanoid form, but feels its essence being pulled down by gravity... FrozenPancake_
I like this thing a lot. First of all, chrome Hau. It's so shiny... The build does have some odd proportions (torso is longer than the legs), but it works well. Many G1 sets had proportions like this. My one gripe is that the chrome Hau, while impressive, clashes a little with the rest of the MOC because it contrasts with the flat silver on the rest of the figure. I won't nitpick the blue pins, as it's pretty hard to find them in black these days. However, this MOC is impressive in stature, and it's one of the best (if not THE best) EP Entity MOCs I've seen! I made the proportions unnatural on purpose, as the creature is liquid based and can shift its form. I like this thing a lot. First of all, chrome Hau. It's so shiny... The chrome Hau was picked because I had the thought of him using it as a reflective surface so its victims will only see their own horrified expression last. As much as I can I'll switch out with grey pins as soon as I can.
The Invisible Handman
Maybe it's the camera angle but the lower torso looks a bit too long. Lower arms need silver Armour to fit in with the rest of the set. Huichelaar
Absolutely love how you used pieces more commonly used in the first years of Bionicle. Like, the shoulder-plates, the Hau, the dark-brownish grey pieces, and even the wider type of tubes! This thing really reminds me of, specifically the first year of, Bionicle. Toa of Ice - 1987
Oh dear, looks like this thing that could have been a big contender has been disqualified by Tufi Pyufi. But it does have a overall really good build..The are no gaps to speak of as you filled most of them with the classic "bohrok eyes fit anywhere trick". and The Chrome Hau really fits into the theme and design since its color made it a a unique mask back in 2001. You will not be re-qualified. Quote Bio of a BZP Admin

I sense a bit of hostility here, and as I mentioned in the contest thread, similar topic of conversation has come up and funny enough there people seemed to agree on using older MOCs for recent contests. Black Six
I sense a bit of hostility here, and as I mentioned in the contest thread, similar topic of conversation has come up and funny enough there people seemed to agree on using older MOCs for recent contests.I apologize if I came across as hostile, I was trying to be straightforward and informative. The rules for BBC Contests have changed very little over the years, and the rule about MOCs being new has been there for a long time. If people have entered old MOCs in past contests, it's because the contest hosts can't go out and look at every single MOC that has been posted online to verify that it's new. We are certainly not perfect, and I'm sorry if other people's evasion of the rules makes it seem like we're picking on you. We're just trying to encourage new creations for the contest, which has always been the point of these things. 2 Quote Bio of a BZP Admin
