Toa Imrukii Posted June 9, 2016 Share Posted June 9, 2016 (edited) TOA TALLETH(BBC CONTEST #73 ENTRY) Details Toa Talleth is a Member of Toa Imrukii's Team.Talleth is a Toa of Plant Life, one of very few. And a greatly stalwart warrior at that.He is connected almost directly to his Element, giving him a great control over Plantlife.though he often doesn't use it unless to get to far to reach places or in intense combat situations.Talleth sports a long semi-modified staff from a Rahkshi of Heat vision long ago defeated, and later repurposed into a fighting lance or spear.His secondary weapon is a leaf-shaped combat sword, double bladed, one blade being the main body of the tool and the secondary blade being smaller and used as the pommel of the sword.His main tool however is a large body shield, akin to that of the shield of a Roman Legion. The Shield has the ability to implant itself into the ground like that of a tree and grow interlocking tendrils around the proximity of it's user to better fortify them. The shield also sports a saw blade to dig itself firmly in the ground and can be used as a weapon on it's own if need be.Toa Talleth's Armor is bulked up around his lower torso and upper thighs to better allow him to keep his midsection protected and to help shape his form to a smoother appearance in said section. His shins also have some bulked up armor to better protect from attack. His upper arms are protected less so and are made to look more stylized compared to his lower half, appearing as larger green leaves like that of jungle trees. The backs of his lower arms are decorated in large leaf like grows that if cut off will regenerate in a few days. His chest is semi-bioluminescent, to produce some light and also to go in line with his appearance, of course however his chest piece does serve it's purpose and is not just meant for decoration, it juts out a bit to better bulk up his upper body whilst also working like semi-organic armor.His Mask is a Noble Kanohi Hau.(shaped like a normal Hau here, but just use your imagination, alright?) His Origins and Lore Talleth originates from Metru Nui, but long ago became damaged. Sent to the island of Karzahni to be repaired but eventually managed to escape that living torment and made it to the northern region of the Southern Continent where he would later come to be brought back together with his friends from Metru Nui after Makuta Teridax took over the city and forced them to escape to the Southern Continent. Later on in his life he became a Member of a Resistance Movement against Teridax when he took over the Matoran Universe. The shaping and consistency of colours is nice, but I can't help but see some of the 2005 combiner Rahi when I look at it. Otherwise, grand job. I wish you well in the contest. What you've done with the torso chest armour is interesting. The colour scheme is also consistent enough. The weapons look a tiny bit oversized, but I do like the choice of the green Hau.
