Hapori Tohu
Christian Faber has updated his blog FaberFiles with a new entry taking us back to the earliest days of LEGO constraction sets, showcasing the original faceplate illustrations of four of the Slizer/Throwbot sets from 1998: Fire/Torch, Sub/Scuba, Jungle/Amazon, and Judge/Jet. The Slizer/Throwbots theme was the precursor to Bionicle, and despite having a very different aesthetic, it's neat to get a glimpse of Faber's involvement in those sets. Toa Smoke Monster
All of these look cool, especially the ones for the Jungle and Judge. I really like how detailed they are. Its neat to see these things from the early days of Lego constraction sets. I would like to see more, if there is more to see.
