Hapori Tohu
Yesterday LEGO launched a new site to help kids find different ways to play with their bricks. Remake provides instructions for alternate models from a variety of different LEGO sets. Back in the day, there were often alternate models on the backs of boxes, but these days, with more sets being made than ever, the designers don't have the time to do that for every single set. So for Remake, LEGO has turned to six AFOLs who have created all of the alternate builds! It's awesome to see TLG involving the community in new and different ways, and I hope to see Remake grow and expand! Sybre
Wow, that's an incredible idea! As a guy with a soft spot for alternate builds, I'm liking the idea. It's so amazing what you can turn your sets into with just a little imagination. As for the people with the sets featured on the site, they now have a bunch of new ways to mess around with their sets. Heck, some might even be inspired to build and share their own original alternate models. We're onto something, folks. Side note: I want to get that space shuttle set so I can build the X-Shuttle. Sumiki
Alternate builds were always one of my favorite things and I'd always try to come up with some for any decent-sized set. Good to see they're back! Quote avatar by Lady Kopaka
