Hapori Tohu
Recently there have been two projects on LEGO Ideas that have achieved ten thousand votes of support. First up is The Large Hadron Collider by NathanR2015, which replicates the famous scientific apparatus located at CERN in France and Switzerland. It's a simple model, but it accurately captures the major components of the device, which makes sense, since Nathan actually works with it! Next there's the Lego Observatory - Mountain View by ThomasW, which looks like it could be based on a real place but isn't. The observatory has a high level of detail and awesome interiors and could almost be confused with a Creator Expert modular building. How do you feel about these models? Would you buy either one to add to your collection? Let us know in the Talkback! View the full article Quote News Forums Q&A
SPIRIT
That observatory looks amazing, especially given that it's got moving parts and everything. Not a fan of that LHC, though. Quote ~ The Jazziest JtO Spoof ~
Ta-metru_defender
The LHC almost looks cool, just doesn't quite work at that scale (a cross section would be cooler, eg). That observatory, however, is gonna be mine if it gets the greenlight. Good lord, it's gorgeous.
