I'm not really a fan of any of these or any of the 2003 sets in general. I went for Takutanuva because it's the only one I know what it looks like without google

I chose Rahkshi Combiner 1 because I assume that is the Japanese Rahkshi Kaita model. I guess that could have been one of the inspiration models too. Hard to say without pictures. Either way, not many good combiners to choose from this year. The Matoran combiners are unremarkable, the Bohrok Kal combiners are awful, and the official Rahkshi Kaita's are average at best. Takutanuva looks cool but his build is largely based on Makuta's. The Japanese models blow all of these out of the water.

Takutanuva got my vote. I thought he was a really cool combiner.

Makuta Nui was pretty imposing, but so was Bohrok Kal kaita Ja. I can't choose, but I'll go for the latter for its storyline significance - as small as it is.

I loved building Takutanuva. One of my favorite combiners from back then.

The manga-inspired Rahkshi combiner (Guurahk + Turahk + Vorahk) blew away the original Rahkshi Kaita and was my favourite combiner of '03. Too bad I don't know which "Inspirational Combiner" it is, so Takutanuva gets my vote for his size, looks and story significance.

2003 was a pretty poor year for combiners. I liked Takutanuva bit more than the rest, however.
