The latest project to hit the mark is Lovelace & Babbage by stubot. The project commemorates Ada Lovelace and Charles Babbage, two of the people primarily responsible for the computer you're reading this on. The Analytical Engine may seem over-large and under-powered by today's standards, but the model is neat and can even fit a miniature computer like a Raspberry Pi!
