Hapori Tohu
In the early days, before Bionicle was Bionicle, it was Boneheads of Voodoo Island. Thanks to Christian Faber and some other sources, we've gotten a glimpse at some of the early concepts that eventually became our favorite theme, which has inspired Nuju Metru to create the Boneheads of Voodoo Island. Pakuru the Warrior and Kopere the Adventurer take the tribal feel of the early part of Bionicle and take it to the next level, while at the same time blending in more of the mechanical feel with things like exposed gears and spindly legs. I love the necklaces, bones, and other details the characters have used to decorate themselves, making them feel almost alive. Aaron does a great job of combining CCBS and System pieces to capture an original Bionicle aesthetic that oozes with nostalgia. Go check them out and let him know what you think! Nuju Metru
Still not totally sold on this guy's work... I think he shows promise, maybe, but his current stuff isn't great.
Katanga
It's okay, but I'd have to agree with Nuju. Perhaps his style will get better in time. Just kidding. These are both excellent MOCs. Glad to see them featured! Quote My Bionicle Tumblr. New photos are uploaded daily!
