OH HEY WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT A NON-MAKUTA MOC FINALLY DOES THAT MEAN I GET POINTS FOR BREAKING THE MOLD?!?!?

 

So yeah, Teridax wasn't the only one where I adapted the feedback I received into making a new version of a MOC. Some things I tried to improve on the previous version were making the arms more armored, and  to calm down some of the details a bit (especially in the upper legs).

The weapon and heavily armored figure really dwarf the shield. It could be excused as a buckler, but I don't feel it makes sense with such a broad weapon. Just my opinion though. Others may prefer a smaller shield. Aside from that, I really dislike the red on the chest plate. I feel it's very jarring without any other colors to compliment it.

I feel like he needs more covering shoulder armour than crystal pieces, his shoulders also feel too far back and his upper legs could benefit from some detailing to cover the grey bone beneath.

Might I ask, do you have any suggestions as to what piece I should try out on the shoulders?

Traditionally Chima shoulders or those gold armour pieces Tahu has for shoulders would work. Yer using the chima pieces so those wont work, but vorox armour might look good if you can get the silver/black to work in his colour scheme.
