Fry
What was Matoro holding to Takua when he says ENERGY in MNOG? Edited September 8, 2016 by Jaek_3 Quote Visit my Bionicle 2001 site recreation!
Taria Pakari
It was never explained what it was, but my guess is that it was probably some sort of energy container; or a weird looking fruit/berry, that Matoran used to "eat" from. SPIRIT
I don't know if that's ever properly explained. In the official walkthrough, this is how the scene is described: Before I can figure out what the symbol means, it disappears and I hear someone speaking to me. “Energy…” he offers. I take it. “Rest…” he says. I close my eyes once more. So Takua takes the... energy? In the Tales of the Tohunga/Quest for the Toa game also released that year, there were Amana Volo Spheres for energy and Bula Berries for health. Now the Amana Volo is not a physical thing, it's just pure energy, so maybe it was a Bula Berry? Personally, I always just interpreted it as some kind of medicine or generic Matoran food that wasn't supposed to be named. 2 Quote ~ The Jazziest JtO Spoof ~
Bonkle
I agree with SPIRIT. Probably just some random thing. That whole seen was kinda weird though.... it was like the only time in the game with all caps words. 1 Quote I been away a long time.

Toa Doublebee
That scene was one of the more memorable scenes from MNOG for me.I remember liking to moc that little thing and giving it to the Matoran to hold. While I never truly dwelled on this question, I think it was allways in my subconscious that it was some cool piece of medical equipment. The notion that Matoro is allways prepared with some med gear for lost souls in Ko-Wahi makes him so much cooler to me.
