Hapori Tohu
Great Britain may not have gotten early access to select 2017 sets like the United States did, but the British version of shop.LEGO.com now offers a sneak peek at what's to come through "Coming Soon" listings for over 140 new LEGO sets! These listings appear to cover the full range of January set releases from over a dozen different themes, and most include detailed pictures and descriptions (which offer some interesting story details for themes like Ninjago and Nexo Knights). Follow the link above to browse the upcoming sets and find your favorites! View the full article Quote News Forums Q&A
CHTrilogy
Good grief, I'd almost forgotten Lego had cost so much... well, the thing that looks kind of like Gordon the Blue Engine looks pretty cool, and so does the Robo Explorer... I'll keep my eye out for them. Quote ~ CHTrilogy
Aanchir
Personally the set I'm most excited for is the Dragon's Forge from LEGO Ninjago. We get awesome new versions of Kai and Nya, their parents Ray and Maya (seriously, this is huge!), a two-headed elemental fusion dragon, and three Vermillion baddies (Commander Raggmunk, Slackjaw, and the brick-built mech Buffmillion). All set amidst a blacksmith shop with utterly gorgeous architecture. Its price, in the UK and Germany, also seems to be a ridiculous bargain relative to its piece count. It's 1137 pieces but costs just £74.99 GBP/€79.99 EUR. For comparison's sake, Misfortune's Keep had just 754 pieces for £69.99/€89.99. Mind you, it seems to have a lot of small bits (as Ninjago sets often do), but it's still a really substantial-looking end product. If the price in the US is as much of a bargain (like, say, $80), I'm gonna be thrilled.Mind you, the other Ninjago sets aren't looking too shabby themselves. A special shout-out goes to Destiny's Shadow (360 parts, £24.99/€29.99), a sort of skiff counterpart to the ninja's flagship Destiny's Bounty, and Dawn of Iron Doom (704 parts, £59.99/€59.99), an enormous Vermillion mech and gantry scaffold which like the other sets seems to feature a new copper color!
