Hey guys, I'm Skip, and I make Bionicle music. A couple months ago I talked with a few other music producers about what the original elements of Bionicle would sound like. Eventually, this conversation turned into a project, and that project turned into this

Mata Nui: The Music Chronicle is. ‘a tribute to the original 2001-2003 era of Bionicle Gen 1, that introduced so many fans into the world of Bionicle.’ With 10 tracks in total, ranging from across the island and world of Mata Nui, this album seeks to capture that nostalgic MNOG feeling in all of us.

Give it a listen if you’re interested, and please share it with others, cheers!

Sounds great! The music kinda reminds me of some of the tracks in the Matoran Adventures GBA game, which I was not expecting. But it's clear that you've combined many different iconic soundscapes for the tracks. Kind of like a mixture of MNOG and the Power Pack tracks. Anyway, I really like it. Nice work!

This is amazing! They do take me back to MNOG. Your work does not go unappreciated. I'm gonna be listening to this for the next weeks

Bionicle: ANP aims to create narrated versions of all the Bionicle books, with voice actors for each character, and music taken from various media to enhance the story. Check here if you're interested in voicing a character, and here for the chapters that've already been released!

Definitely has that MNOLG feel to it.  Nicely done.

I'd actually have something of substance to say here, but I'm too lazy to think of anything.  >_< Er, have some BZPRPG profiles, I guess?

I used to help Dominus Temporis with writing MLWTB back in the day, even if I was really terrible at it.  If anyone's in contact with him, could ya help me get in touch?   :)

So similar in tone and composition yet still completely new, not relying on nostalgic appeal. Amazing job.

10/10 had to force myself to go to work today and not stay at home playing MNOG. Would go through a nostalgia crisis again for.

Wow, I loved this. I actually thought it was music from MNOG for a second. Nice work.

Great stuff! I remember another user here posting his own album "Sounds of Okoto" or something like that.

It's more of a GBA-type sound than it is a MNOG one, but I still listened through the whole thing and was quite impressed! You guys have a bright future in music composition.

I'm in love with The Nest; the rest, as TheSkeletonMan said, is more reminiscent of GBA games than the original MNOG, but I praise the effort and passion put into this work. Keep it up!

My wife and I are expecting our first child, and she's been looking for good pregnancy music for months, but all the typical things drive her up the wall or depress her.

Then I put this on.

We've been listening to it straight ever since. Kanae Ascent is our favorite! Definitely captures the feel of Year One, though as many others suggested, it's less MNOG and more GBA. Not that that is a bad thing!

That's awesome! You're going to raise the next generation of Bionicle fans. Maybe by the time he grows up LEGO will give Bionicle another try.
