Flintsmith
I've seen some posts from 2014 saying that they exist and are distinct from the Flat Silver ones but I'd love to see actual photographs and detailed instructions for identifying one... something I could use to have BL sellers send the right version. I know that the Ahohkii I have are a different material from the Proto Miru Nuva I dyed recently.and by the way, what's with the 50 cent Proto Mirus on BL? Does anyone know where Pearl Light Gray Avohkiis came from? Someone want to send me a few? Quote How I make metal masks. Trans-purple Kaukau Olda . The 1st Shadow
According to Bricklink, they hail from the 2010 Stars Takanuva. The Flat Silver ones are from the 2003 Makuta set. That said, it shouldn't be too hard to come across one of either. I can try to locate a few to send your way, if you like. PM me, and in the meantime, I'll see what I've got. Sykes Normatus
As Shadow above stated, 2003 Makuta = Flat Silver, 2010 Takanuva Stars = Pearl Light Gray. Only other colors(aside from the prototype) was the Flat Dark Gold and the Glittering Trans-Clear Mask. As for the Miru Nuva, apparently from the Krana-Kal and Kanohi Nuva mask packs, the Miru Nuva was the absolute most plentiful in them, while other protodermic silver masks were not. Flintsmith
Thanks. I had read that it was from Takanuva but I discounted that because I knew it was wrong. I didn't think of the Stars set. Quote How I make metal masks. Trans-purple Kaukau Olda .
