Warner Bros recently let everyone know when we can expect to get The LEGO Batman Movie digitally and on physical media. You'll be able to get it from iTunes, Amazon Video, and others on May 19th, with the DVD, Blu-Ray, and Ultra-HD versions coming on June 13th. You can find a list of places you can preorder it from right here. You might want to wait a bit though, in case any of the editions come with exclusive extras. But at the very least you can mark your calendars so you don't miss it!

It's not a lot different from The Lego Movie (which also released in February and had the DVD release in June). In general kids' animated movies tend to have a much quicker turnaround time on home releases than movies aimed primarily at adults, so it's not really an issue of how well the movie did or didn't do in theaters.

Clearly my memory has failed me. Or is it just that everything after the 2012 apocalypse doesn't count?
