Wiriamu
Well, here we are halfway into the first year of Bionicle's second demise, and a bit of a bug has bitten me: I'm looking to piece together the Journey to One Makuta. I just picked up a mostly complete Lord of Skull Spiders-it looks to have all the components I'll need for Makuta-so I'm in the market for: *Mask Maker vs. Skull Grinder*Ikir, Creature of Fire*Tahu, Uniter of Fire*Onua, Uniter of Earth*Umarak the Hunter*Umarak the Destroyer It won't be the end of the world if any sets are incomplete, so long as the majority of components are there. If you have some-or if you know where some can be found-comment or send me a PM. jchavoya
I'd recommend eBay. Bricklink is an option too (if you're patient enough to count pieces). eBay you sometimes see bids that don't get high. When I built my Makuta, I won a bid for Onua, Tahu, Lord of Skull Spiders, Ikir and for some weird reson skull hunter. Way cheaper than buying each set individually. PS: I don't remember mask maker actually contributing much. I think just his gold shield, maybe some structure pieces. Yeah, that wheel piece is really the only reason you'd need Ekimu, and frankly you can get it from other sets without having to ruin his equipment. I have been looking at the bricklink option and trying to get a parts count-it's definitely no easy task. I have been looking at the bricklink option and trying to get a parts count-it's definitely no easy task. On that note I'd recommend YouTube videos. There are many videos showing the build. I don't remember where, but I remember at least one that layer out all the pieces you'd need at the beginning. If you're patient to sit and count, it's not bad to order everything from bricklink. I've done that for a few things (like sand tarakava), but honestly for this one I just bought the main sets from eBay in the bid, built as much as I can, then just counted and ordered the stuff from what was missing (which was mostly connectors).
