Tommy Andreasen, one of the creators of the theme has written a letter which he shared on his Twitter account for fans to read. The short version is that Season 8 picks up some time after Season 7, Hands of Time, left off, and as a result there will bee some changes in some of the characters. Behind the scenes, however, the same creative team is working on the show and will be keeping the spirit of Ninjago alive! So while we do have to wait until 2018 for the show to continue, it looks like this is some good news for fans of the theme!
