It shows Kai, in a new outfit, driving a fiery motorbike as he chases down a new snake minifigure. Is this a set that will burn brightly in your collection, or will it just crash and burn? I'm loving the ninjas' new armor/backpack pieces. The bike looks cool, too, and fifteen dollars isn't a bad deal for a set like that. Might pick it up if I see it.-TNTOS-

I'm seriously considering buying this set, which is odd since I usually only buy System sets when they're on clearance. The red slopes and golden bits are just too good to ignore, and the price is pretty decent. I won't be getting the minifig packs, they're not my thing. Very helpful review.

I got this set for Christmas and am very impressed. The overall look is mighty stunning, and the action feature is brilliant if a bit glitchy. I've found that you occasionally have to re-secure certain parts and make sure no parts are rubbing against each other that shouldn't be, since activating the action feature can occasionally nudge certain parts out of alignment. But if this is done, then the blades tend to flare out beautifully when the switch is pressed.Kai ZX is a great design. I was a little uncertain how I would like the new ninja designs after the very stylish but mostly identical designs from this year, but Kai and Jay ZX, at least, are wonderfully cohesive-looking. The new sword holster works brilliantly. As for Rattla, the Hypnobrai soldier included in this set, he's very nice looking, and has a lot of personality compared to Snappa, the red Fangpyre serpentine included in Jay's Storm Fighter.I don't have the Jay ZX booster pack, but it's awesome just by virtue of having a golden-bladed chainsaw. To quote Axe Cop, "It's beautiful."Overall, this was a very good review! Thanks so much for writing it and taking these pictures!
