Bionicle RISK: Barraki at War

I guess there is no more room for another player...

Nope, sorry; RISK is only supposed to go up to six players, plus that's the number of Barraki so it worked out great.

However, in the distant future, if this game doesn't crash and burn and I'm crazy enough to try this again (Bionicle RISK: Core War?  Matoran Civil War?) I'll be sure to save you a spot.   :)

Whoops!  OK, It's my turn.

I'll reinforce Xia with 3 armies and the Right Island Chain with 1.  So that should leave Xia with 5, the Right Island Chain with 4, and the Northern Continent with 4.  And if I'm not mistaken, doesn't my special power allow me to reinforce each capital I control with 1 extra army?

Kalmah's armies storm Pridak controlled Keetongu's island.

Scrubbish rolls: 5, 3, 3

Iron_Man rolls: 5, 1

4. Scrubbish (Kalmah)

Xia (6: Capital), Northern Continent (4), Right Island Chain (3)

6. Iron Man (Pridak)

The Shoulder Islands (5), Odina (3: Capital), Nynrah (1) Elbow Island (4), Visorak (1), Keetongu’s Island (3)

It's a give and take.  Would you like to attack again or another territory?

The battle rages.

Scrubbish rolls: 6, 4, 4

Iron_Man rolls: 3, 2

And it's looking bad for the shark people.

6. Iron Man (Pridak)

The Shoulder Islands (5), Odina (3: Capital), Nynrah (1) Elbow Island (4), Visorak (1), Keetongu’s Island (1)

Once more?

Heh, I didn't miscount the number of armies in The Right Island Chain (That's one part of real life RISK I had hoped we could've left out.)

Re-calculating.

Scrubbish (actually) rolled: 4, 1

Iron_Man (still) rolled: 3, 2

4. Scrubbish (Kalmah)

Xia (6: Capital), Northern Continent (4), Right Island Chain (2)

6. Iron Man (Pridak)

The Shoulder Islands (5), Odina (3: Capital), Nynrah (1) Elbow Island (4), Visorak (1), Keetongu’s Island (2)

Still want to attack again?

Edit: I also didn't write Keetongu's island when I meant Right Island Chain.

Kalmah's last warriors made one final push with all the feeling they had...even more than Ehlek's.

Scrubbish rolls: 4

Iron_Man rolls: 4, 1

But, sometimes feeling isn't enough.

4. Scrubbish (Kalmah)

Xia (6: Capital), Northern Continent (4), Right Island Chain (1)

Would you like to attack another territory or end your turn?

Abandon attempt! Abandon attempt!

We'll try something else. Give me a second to check the map.

EDIT: Let's try attacking the TKP from the Northern Continent.

For the first time in the war...armies attack from land instead of sea.  Invading the TKP from the Northern Continent.

Scrubbish rolls: 5, 5, 2

Toru rolls: 6, 3

Another back and forth.

4. Scrubbish (Kalmah)

Xia (6: Capital), Northern Continent (3), Right Island Chain (1)

1. Toru Nui (Ehlek)

Metru-Nui (4: Capital), Tren Krom Peninsula (3), Destral (3), Southern Continent (4), Voya Nui (3)

Attack again?

TTL, I accept your deal.

You may have the EP Island, and in turn you donate two of your reinforcements on your next turn to me.

Plus we ally.

(I'm sure allying with Takadox won't have any repercussions, like a knife in the back or something. Not at all.)

Agreed.

Thank you for making a deal with old Takadox.

I donate two armies to Voltex for exchange of the EP island.

I then place one army on my new territory of the EP island and the other on my capital.

I then attack Artidax from my capital with the most feeling anyone has ever seen!

Yeeeeaaaah, making alliances for the sake of non-aggression pacts and the like equals OK.

Making alliances for the trading of armies and territories equals "iffy".  No really, I don't know of any RISK variant where you can do that and if someone does (or if this is a common house rule) then please tell me, but since I'm unaware of it I left it out of the rules and so...

Request does not compute please try again.

When I play with my friends we usually trade cards for territories and when Voltex offer his island for army troops I thought it was a variation on the house rule.

Sorry if we crossed a line.

Let's try again.

I put two armies on my capital

New total:7

I put two armies on the four arm islands.

New total: 6

I then attack Artidax from my capital with the most feeling anyone has ever seen!

Sorry if we crossed a line.

It's all good, no harm no foul and all.  We now return to are regularly scheduled war.

Territories reinforced:

5. TTL (Takadox)

Zakaz (3), The Four Arm Islands (6), Left Island Chain (7: Capital)

Attacking Artidax:

TTL rolls: 6, 5, 4

Iaredios rolls: 2, 1

2. The Hip Historian (Carapar)

Arthaka (8: Capital), Daxia (3), Artidax (2)

And Carapar's men were caught off guard and cut down.  Would you like to attack again?
