Hapori Tohu Posted December 1, 2017 Share Posted December 1, 2017 In the interest of wrapping up our coverage of New York Toy Fair 2017 before we start our coverage of the 2018 event, we're going to do a pseudo-"Advent Calendar" of blurbs on toys we saw there. Think of it as a chance to add some non-LEGO items to your Christmas list, and see all the ways that ideas we know from LEGO appeared in places that the LEGO Group didn't. Today's feature: Mu by Morpx. This exciting electronics line is compatible with seemingly everything. We were in a bit of a rush and didn't get a look at how this magic happens, but the gist is that this $37 camera module is compatible with both LEGO's Power Functions system and LEGO Mindstorms motors. Presumably you need to build a certain way for the motors to be where Mu's IR output expects them to be - in light of how rushed we were, it really did look like magic.
