Gund's charming take on DC comics features cuddly bears and bunnies in costumes, outfits, and even pajamas inspired by the iconic superheroes (instead of yet another straight iteration of the characters). Elsewhere, they've taken on fantasy creatures (dragons, friendly dinosaurs) and licenses ranging from the relatively expected (Star Trek, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, We Bare Bears, Peter Rabbit) to the very modern and social media-based (Pusheen, Grumpy Cat, Boo The World's Cutest Dog, Prissy & Pop). In a welcome turn for our pseudo-advent calendar, they even had their winter and Christmas selection on display. Lyichir
Plushies are good. I wish Lego would do more plush—I'd totes buy plush Lego Elves animals, or plush Unikitties. They've done a couple Ninjago and Batman plushes this year but the quality is so-so. Certainly not the quality you get from a manufacturer like Gund, at any rate.
