This MOC was intended for the preliminary round of the 2017 Bio-Cup contest on Flickr, the prompt for which was to re-imagine a Lego set in Bionicle form. I've always thought some of the coolest System sets were from Mars Mission, and the Alien Infiltrator already has sort of a humanoid silhouette, so that was a natural choice for me. Unfortunately I was too busy to finish it in time for the contest, but I still definitely wanted to finish and post it at some point. Enjoy!

Blimey, this is super impressive. I love how you incorporated specific elements and motifs of the original set instead of phoning it in with a similar aesthetic and color scheme like many would have. The subtle touches of red and the shaping is magnificent.

Good use of the alien pieces here, it properly fits the theme. Integrating plasters into the arms is a nice touch too. It's a nice blend of Technic and system and for that I tip my hat. Well done!

Well done model. I like that you use the system parts to approximate Bionicle-type pieces.

Nice. I agree it looks like a BIONICLE set despite being System.

Does it transform into a ship? That'd be a great upgrade if it doesn't already.

Fantastic work! Mars Mission has always been among my favorite space themes, and it never fails to catch my attention when someone uses those distinctive alien sticker pieces. Bravo!
