Merry Christmas, y'all. May all your gifts rattle with plastic bricks.

See it on Flickr and MOCpages.

That's a *lot* of green, mate. Also, fantastic use of Reidak's weapon.

Thanks! I got 100 of those green limbs cheap and was wondering if I would ever find a use for them.

What set are those mata green arm pieces from?
I know it's not from Lewa he has lime green limbs.

They come from 8505 Amazon*, a set released in 1999 from the Throwbots** line, a precursor to BIONICLE.

I should have guessed it was a Slizer.

Now I should probably give my thoughts on the MOC.

I think it is a clever use of parts to create the tree shape and star on top from a piraka weapon.
Overall nice Christmas themed build.

I feel like it needs ornaments but otherwise it's just perfect as a bionicle Christmas tree. Well done!

Definitely seems like a missed opportunity with the lack of ornaments. Something as simple as sticking studs in the exposed holes would have made it at least twice as pretty! Regardless, it's a tree-riffic creation :P

Happy New Year to you all!
