Hapori Tohu
One of the earliest pieces of licensed Bionicle merchandise was the Quest for the Masks trading card game, featuring three starter packs and booster packs you could buy to build a deck and play your friends. In the starter packs was a booklet titled, 'The Legend of Mata Nui,' featuring information about the Toa, the Kanohi, the Turaga, and the island of Mata Nui. Since it predates most of the books and comics and probably had a longer lead time to develop, some of the lore it shares reflects an earlier version of the story we all love. If you're interested in checking it out, Pereki has shared images of the booklet that everyone can read! Once you're done make sure to thank them and let us know what you think in the topic! VahiHolder02
I will never tire of reading early Bionicle lore pieces. The scope, mystery, and promise that team was able to establish so early on is always astounding to me, especially because it was so out of the ordinary status quo for Lego at the time. bohrokmaster
It's great to hear that Toa Gali is the most beloved among the Matoran in every koro/village. Because I sometimes see her as the "glue" that keeps her Toa team together. Even when she tries when the Toa became Toa Nuva.
