Need help to figure out value of collection (image very heavy!)

Benn cleaning storage, bunch of my kid tous, among 7 big Home Depot bins full of Lego's.

Two unsorted so I am not sure what's inside and one was full of Bionicle's and Hero factory (I guess) parts.

ONLY Bionicle related parts like masks, bodies, arms, weapons etc etc. No bricks, pins, gears or else. Total is 'bout 23-25lb.

Really need your help to figure out what it may worth.

 (I'm a collector not a mocist) but I can tell you that some of the parts are semi- rare such as the gold piraka spine and the olmaks, the 4 hole krakkhan is also quite sought after,however the best method for you would be to sell the things such as masks and rare part here on bzpower and sell the rest on bricklink they have vague prices already sorted out. totally, I would say maybe 100 if your lucky but I'm not very good at these sorts of things so take what I say very lightly.

And can you point out for rare-semi rare or just a some items with some value? 'Cos for me all those names mean nothing, sorry.

Pearl Gold Piraka spine is worth around $10. Rest of parts is rather common and not worth too much, so I guess your best shot is to sell this as lot of parts. Idk how much they are worth abroad, but in Poland 1 kg of parts is worth around $10 - $20, so if you have 25 lbs (around 11,33 kg), then you can get something between $110-$230 I think.

I've been referencing to "...I can tell you that some of the parts are semi- rare such as..." and was asking what else I may have worth to sell separate. Duh...

other than that, most of your parts are just plain old run on the mill parts that can appear in many sets but that's not a bad thing, mocists would love some of these parts.

Hey Bub,

You have mostly "bulk" parts there.  Those sell on eBay for 7-20 a pound (shipped) in random assortments, though I see someone gets $30 while adding shipping.  I guess it depends on how patient you are. I'll be selling my son's stuff soon.  I'll be disappointed if I don't get $10/lb ($20/kg).  An option is to reassemble the sets but it's a lot of hours and you'll need all those pins and gears.  My son refuses to even look at them.

 

Some people separate out the masks because those sell for more.  Some people leave them in to get more from the bulk.  If you want to have selling them be your hobby, Bricklink will let you sell each piece separately.

 

(That $30 guy might have sold pounds at a lower price earlier.  With the new higher price the old sales would still be shown making it look like he sold them at $30.  Personally, I doubt any random pounds have ever sold at that price.)

 

Oh.  Pull out the kraata.  (double-click the word then right-click and search google) but you only have a couple that are "wild".  The good ones are NOT green/green, white/white, blue/blue etc.
