Bohrok Kal/ Krana kal current situation

Bohrok Kal Possibilities and Outline

So we all know about the bohrok kal, six special variations of standard bohrok created to free the bahrag if something happened to them.

So we know right now that most of the bohrok kal are dead, except for lehvak who is in space orbiting spherus magna however his krana is still intact on spherus along with a few other krana kal. So where are the krana right now? are they in the possesion of the turaga still? were they given new bodies? We also know that the bahrag are on spherus, so will they create more kals? The red star is also a thing so will that rebuild them or not since their krana's are still intact. Also theoretically kohrak kal could also be rebuilt as he just fell apart.

P.s can bohrok operate on their own without krana? After all they were av matoran once. Just thinking from Lehvak kal's point of view.

Well, since the Kal themselves were merely robots housing the krana-kal, they can't die the same way that say a matoran can die. I believe that the only two Kal that could possibly be repaired would be Tahnok, Gahlok and Levahk (if you can rescue it from orbit) as they were merely fused by lightning, crushed by metal, and propelled into space. All the rest were completely crushed by gravity, melted by falling into the center of the planet, or completely disintegrated by sonic. And to hop down to your last question, yes Bohrok (and by extension the Kal) can be reprogrammed and can function without their krana.

As for the Krana-kal, from what we've gotten from the story team, they were all able to eject themselves before the Kal were destroyed, and the Turaga gathered them up. As far as we know, they're still in the possession of the Turaga. Earlier, the Matoran gathered up all the krana they collected and put them into marked pits all over Mata Nui. I'm guessing that when the Bohrok were unleashed for the last time by the Nuva, they rescued the stolen Krana from the pits, but I do not know whether the Krana-kal were kept in those pits as well. If so, they were most likely rescued as well. However I will add that there were actually 8 Krana-kal total for each Bohrok-kal, (48 in all) and only 6 minimum were present when the Kal were destroyed (the rest were carried by Bohrok Va serving the Kal) So there are definitely still Krana-Kal out and about in the world, and if the Kal were repaired, it wouldn't be hard to get them their krana-kal back.

Now, in the case that the Bohrok-kal can't be fixed, will the Bahrag make more? Perhaps, but it's unknown what they will do, since their one and only purpose in life has been rendered obsolete. A few fan stories are out there currently that brings up the questions of what the Bahrag are doing with their new home.

As for the Red star, I believe it does not resurrect robots, so it would not bring back the kal.

This does clear a lot of things up. To confirm when the bohrok when reactivated they did retrieve the krana from the krana pits.

I see no reason for the Bahrag to make more Bohrok/Krana-Kal, nor any resources available for them to do so.

However, they will probably maintain command over the swarms in general, whatever their new purpose may be. Perhaps they’ll team up with the new Matoran/Agori society and use the Bohrok as an army if sorts. With the Bohrok’s “cleansing” abilities, they’d be good at raiding and destroying enemy bases.

As for the Bohrok-Kal being repaired, the only one would be Lehvak-Kal, who isn’t damaged as far as we know. But how would they get him back down? And what purpose would he serve? His only reason for existing was as a failsafe in case the Bahrag were incapacitated, which is even more specific than the rest of the swarm’s purpose.

My friend went to Po-Wahi and all I got was this lousy rock.

I was thinking that because they can speak (the bohrok kal), think, make up strategic plans etc. That they could just be normal society members (or warriors if needed). My other thought was that they (along with the rest of the swarm could clean up the robot. Similar to how the agori and glatorian used the experimental one as a housing of sorts I would assume they would also/could also use them both as housing.
