Hapori Tohu
Yesterday The LEGO Group shared a press release regarding the company's performance in the first half of 2018. There's a lot of financial jargon that basically says that things aren't as 'bad' as they were the past two years. Overall they have made a little less money than last year, in part because of changing exchange rates and Toys 'R' Us closing. They are hopeful that things are in a good position to improve, especially with the large growth they're seeing in China and the rest of the Asian market. We'll probably have to wait for the full 2018 report since the all-important holiday retail season will show how well LEGO has really done. Let us know what you think of these results in the Talkback! View the full article 1 Quote News Forums Q&A
Aanchir
Great to hear that Ninjago is still doing really well! I'm a bit surprised not to see LEGO Friends mentioned, though, since that's typically been one of the major sellers over the past several years. With the shake-up that Toys 'R' Us's liquidation represents for the entire toy industry, I think stable results are good results under the circumstances.
