RetailNews Asia shares that LEGO will respond to double-digit revenue growth in the first half of this year by expanding their retail presence, adding a new flagship store in Shanghai in the coming month and another in Beijing in the beginning of next year. By the end of this year LEGO intends to have 60 stores in 15 Chinese cities, including the current 36 LEGO Certified Stores and the existing flagship store at Shanghai Disney Resort. They have also partnered with Chinese tech conglomerate Tencent to create both a LEGO streaming video channel and LEGO licensed games, with teasers already appearing for the first game's announcement this Wednesday.
