Hapori Tohu
Even after two decades, the original LEGO Island game has a loyal group of fans around it. Much to their delight, Lorin Swelk, the game's composer, recently shared that was shown at E3 many years ago to advertise the then-upcoming game. Fair warning - the animation is... rather dated and they take some liberties with how exactly LEGO bricks work. But at a time when 3D animation was still relatively new, it's certainly an interesting look back at a much-beloved part of LEGO history. Floris
Thanks for posting this!I would like to give some details on what this most likely is. This is supposedly a pilot episode to a proposed TV show: it revolved around captain Click (also known from the secret cave from LEGO Island!) stealing kid's bricks at night. It never got further than just the pilot, but is really interesting to see!Lorin also has been active in transferring found music tapes, with much better quality music than the crushed versions shipped with the game. Some of it is up for grabs here:https://projectisland.org/music/
Taria Pakari
It certainly shows how far 3D animation has come in the last two decades. :v
