Hapori Tohu
The LEGO Foundation has granted $100 million to the Sesame Workshop to help Bangladesh and Syrian refugee children learn through play-based activities. Such an endeavor will highlight the "importance of learning through play to set them on a path of healthy growth and development," says The LEGO Foundation's article, including a picture of a family reading with a Sesame Street puppet. Considering how much creativity and learning is encouraged through LEGO building, such a grant goes hand-in-hand with the learning mindset of the Sesame Workshop. The grant will be given out during a five-year period as the humanitarian work develops further.
