Through the Eyes of a Survivor

A big part of many LEGO character builds is the face. How do you translate the idea of eyes, a nose, and a mouth into brick form, or find a way to suggest those features without actually building them? Eli the Survivor by ...The Chosen One... makes use of the magnifying glasses-as-goggles technique combined with a brick-built gas mask to give the impression of someone relying on the gear to stay alive. And let's not overlook the great use of the Nuparu Inika mask as a helmet, with the spikes giving it a Mad Max vibe. And while I'm not sure what the steam engine on Eli's back is for, the flames certainly look cool. This model crams in a lot of character and personality that are certainly worth checking out. So give it a closer look and let the builder know what you think!
