Hapori Tohu
The Washington National Cathedral in Washington, DC, is aiming to build the largest LEGO cathedral in the world. Gathering donations for each LEGO piece to make up the model, funds will also be a donation to the cathedral for helping make repairs after the 2011 earthquake. Details on their website, including plans for the 13-foot long model requiring over over 400,000 LEGO bricks, show what to expect as the project progresses. I'm curious as to if they'll get themselves a grey Darth Vader helmet to match the gargoyle affixed to the outside of the real cathedral.
