Vissova
This has been bugging me for years and I need to know..Where comic/book is this image from? I've somehow never been able to find out.
TuragaNuva
It's from the Bionicle World guidebook.
Pohaturon
Interesting to note that written material has described him as "ebony and gold" as opposed to the purple-green on this illustration. Vissova
Thank you! I don't know how I was never able to figure this out. Pohaturon:I wonder if there was ever an established design for him, and the description of him being ebony and gold was a prototype design, or if his set in 2007 was the only time he ever had an official design. Taria Pakari
Thank you! I don't know how I was never able to figure this out. Pohaturon:I wonder if there was ever an established design for him, and the description of him being ebony and gold was a prototype design, or if his set in 2007 was the only time he ever had an official design. Well his set design is his mutated form, so differences in his appearance there are to be expected. His armour colour could very well have changed from the mutation. His BS01 page does say his colour difference between Dark Destiny and Bionicle: World is an example of him rebuilding himself, but that needs a citation. I suppose it does makes sense though, given his initial role in the universe was to rebuild Matoran sent to him, so rebuilding himself doesn't seem out of the question. Maybe he has a large armor wardrobe and likes to change things up. Why stick to the exact same outfit for 100,000+ years, right? 1 Quote Stone rocks Model Designer at The LEGO Group.
