Hapori Tohu Posted April 11, 2019 Share Posted April 11, 2019 Star Wars Celebration Chicago is kicking off today and in addition to celebrating the twentieth anniversary of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, they are also celebrating the twentieth anniversary of LEGO Star Wars. As part of this, The LEGO Group is attempting to set a Guinness Book World Record for the largest Stormtrooper Army - this one will be made of LEGO Stormtrooper Minifigures (although we all know Buildable Figures would have been cooler ). The collection will be unveiled when the show opens on Thursday and will be observed by a Guinness Book adjudicator to verify and record the record. We should hopefully have more images and information after the event - I'm curious to know how many minifigs are going to be involved!
