You ever look at your people as Bionicle characters?

Hi, guys!:) Earlier today, I watched Avengers: Endgame twice, and then it made me feel something. Whenever I watch the Avengers movies, I always think that my friends from my schools are like Avengers to me. I even draw them as superheroes to honor our friendship and I was inspired by the Avengers movies to do that. That’s a good feeling.:)

However, there’s another thing: Thanos from the movies reminds me of my depression as I always miss most of my dear friends because I don’t see them often, as I would say. (Trying in tears of sadness).:(

Now, this idea inspired me to make this topic: You ever had an idea where you would look at your people, like your friends, as Bionicle characters that you like? For me, I would look at my dear friends as Toa and Glatorian because they are compassionate. For example, I have my own Lewa (a few funny guys), Gali (some compassionate female friends), Onua (some compassionate male friends who want to help out), Pohatu (fun-loving people), Mata Nui (myself and my friends are like leader-equse people who are compassionate. Plus, as much as Mata Nui misses his people, I miss my friends as well) Ackar (myself and some parent figures), Kiina (some younger female friends who are rookies that I would mentor), the Toa Mahri (younger friends who are rookies), Gresh (some younger male friends who are rookies that I would mentor), Takanuva (same as Gresh), and Ekimu (same as Ackar and Mata Nui).:)

I would compare Teridax to my depression as well because Teridax separated Mata Nui from his people, as I was separated from my friends by certain times.:(

This is just metaphorical. What about you guys?:)

I like Lego, Bionicle, and Hero Factory!:)

Bruh, this is quite possibly the weirdest thread I've seen from you. Not the weirdest on BZPower, because that honor goes to the "Toa as ethnicities" thread; but still, this is starting to make me expect to see you in a headline about a series of Bionicle-themed murders of everyone you know.

...But this does remind me of this one (terrible) story idea I had as a kid. I made superhero OCs for myself and many of my friends. They were all absolutely terrible, but after middle school, I think I realized how useless and bad these ideas were. Still, I'm glad I was allowed to just go nuts in this stupid idea and my shameless Mary Sue self-insert, because otherwise, I might have been afraid to try to be creative. For all the dumb I said and did as a kid, I wouldn't take back a single...uh...well, some of it. I still have plenty of regrets, but being allowed to get creative wasn't one of them, even if it meant making weird, creepy, bad OCs out of actual people.

Dude, I was just asking if you ever compared your people, like your friends, as Bionicle characters that you like. I mean, it’s a good feeling to have. That’s how I feel when I compare the Avengers to my friends. To be honest, when I was at college, I drew my friends as superheroes, based on the Toa and Glatorian, for their birthdays, and they love my drawings. I’m not trying to do what you said. I am just asking you guys if you get this feeling. It’s just to make friends from your life feel good about themselves, and it could make yourself feel good about yourself. I was just emotional about the Avengers and Bionicle. Nothing wrong about it.

I personally believe worlds should be separated. That's the reason why Marvel vs Capcom bugs me. These people belong here, and others over here. If anything, Matoran affiliations are the furthest I would go...

What kind of drawings are you speaking of?

"Your people" certainly an odd way to phrase this. While back in pre-school we sometimes played during recess pretending to be Toa, I haven't done anything like this since about the time my age hit double digits.

Well, it goes like this:

1. Suppose you are like Lewa and your best friend is like Onua because your friends comes to help you out. Plus, you can compare Bionicle characters to your friends, family members, and peers. If you tell them that in a good way (use good-hearted characters), they could find that as a nice compliment. I mean, people like to feel that they are like superheroes, like the Toa. In other words, for example, who's your Onua in your life?

2. I drew many of many friends from my schools as superhero versions of themselves based on Toa and Glatorian. I mean, I gave these drawings powers based on Fire, Water, Air, Ice, Stone, Earth, Lightning, Magnetism, Plant Life, Gravity, Plasma, Sonics, Iron, and Psionics, and their armor and weapons are based on the heroes' weapons. My friends loved these things, and a few asked me where I got those ideas. When I told them, they loved and find them interesting.:)
