Hapori Tohu
Today LEGO is officially announcing a set that makes me super-happy. 10266 NASA Apollo 11 Lunar Lander commemorates the fiftieth anniversary of one of mankind's greatest accomplishments with an incredibly-detailed and surprisingly-accurate model. From the golden heat shield to the unfolding TV camera, it appears that nothing was overlooked. Assuming you haven't seen all the pictures that leaked of the set in advance of today, you can read on for a video, the full press release, and some nice hi-res images. Chronicler06
Okay, this is definitely going to be my one must-have Lego set of the year (even more than any of the Lego Movie 2 sets). Seeing as the Saturn V rocket set is still available after almost two years, I'm somewhat confident that I'll be able to get this set at some point later this year (quite assuring for me, as I doubt I'll be able to immediately purchase it upon its initial release tomorrow). And yes, I plan on having it displayed right next to my Lego Saturn V rocket. Quote Formerly known as Takanuva's Symbol, I rejoined BZPower on October 10, 2012. These days, I am perhaps best known for my obsession with all Lego video games.
CHTrilogy
Blimey, that was fast! As soon as I read the email saying this set's now on the Lego Store site, I bought one. Quote ~ CHTrilogy
