Hapori Tohu Posted June 3, 2019 Share Posted June 3, 2019 In a tweet earlier today, LEGO announced it is partnering with Illumination and Universal to create sets based on the Despicable Me franchise starting next year in 2020. This will coincide with the release of Minions: The Rise of Gru. This is interesting considering last month's announcement that they will also be creating sets for DreamWorks' Trolls World Tour film. Over the years, LEGO has released sets with Disney, Pixar, Warners Bros, Nickelodeon, and Hanna-Barbera, so there's not too many other studios out there for them to team up with!
