LEGO plus IKEA equals BYGGLEK

Recommended Posts

This past week IKEA announced the results of their partnership with LEGO, a new line of products called, 'BYGGLEK.' Unfortunately the furniture or storage units have not been revealed yet, but it does seem like they are focused more on kids than adults. I suppose LEGO bricks are a children's toy, after all. I look forward to seeing the fruits of this partnership in 2020, but until then I'll stick with my BILLY bookcases.

I just hope that somewhere along the line we get a smiling IKEA man minifigure so that I can smash him with a hammer.  You know what they say about that smug little guy:

Disregard the smiling little IKEA man in the IKEA graphics as his sole purpose in existence is to mock you and your inability to build this furniture correctly the first go round.  He is a sour, broken individual who lacks proper support from his family and friends and seeks to drag you down to his level.  Ignore him with fervency.

A wonderful board gaming channel on Youtube; specifically their video on how to make a gaming table with a gosh darn TV inside it.  I would have linked to it, but unfortunately it's more than a little NSFBZP.
