willstorm2
I see them as Matoran buddies and as Takua becomes Takanuva, and then a year later (not counting the flashbacks years, because thats what they are, flashbacks)Jaller becomes a Toa Inika, and then a Toa Mahri. And Takanuv returns in 2008 as the "Shadow Takanuva" Imagine how cute it would be if they both met eachother, now both as Toa.
The 1st Shadow
In canon, they did. After Takanuva returned with the Toa Nuva to Metru Nui, he met up with the remaining Toa Mahri, though sadly we never saw this meeting happen. Teridax took over the universe about the same time, though, so their reuinion would have been cut short. Toa of Italy
Takanuva and Jaller met at least twice after the latter also became a Toa. They met when the Toa Mahri (minus Matoro) were sent back to Metru Nui and for a certain time guarded the city together. Then Takanuva was attacked by a Shadow Leech and then sent to Karda Nui by the Order of Mata Nui to aid the Toa Nuva. After his return to Metru Nui, however, he and Jaller would have met again.Following Teridax's takeover of the universe, they split up, though we don't know the exact details: we know Takanuva travelled to Destral to scavenge the ruins of that island and we also know that the Toa Mahri fought a battle against the Skakdi, led by Nektann, and the Rahkshi in Metru Nui before eventually leaving as well.In the end, Takanuva fought in the Battle of Bara Magna, as we all know. The Toa Mahri, Jaller included, did not, however: they had been enthralled by the power of the golden-skinned being and submitted to his Skakdi followers. That was the last we saw of them, for the serials were cut short and we never learned their ultimate fate. 1 Quote My collection of epics: The Sanctum of Writing

I think Greg later confirmed that the Mahri had broken free during the end of Sahmad's Tale, while the fusion was distracted. -Tyler Quote SAY IT ONE MORE TIME TELL ME WHAT IS ON YOUR MIND
