Hapori Tohu Posted July 29, 2019 Share Posted July 29, 2019 It's been a while since we've talked about the status of the forums, but we have been working through a number of hurdles to try to get things up again. I was hoping to have good news this weekend, but another roadblock popped up. Where we are: Our hosting company has confirmed that everything with our database is fine with no issues. The problem is that the version of the database we moved to is not compatible with the older forum software we were using. We have purchased the latest software and, after more complications, have downloaded it and have it ready to install. What's next: Unfortunately all of this comes on the eve of BrickFair VA, so everything is getting put on hold until after the event. Once it's over, we'll be upgrading the forums and then turning them back online as soon as possible. We'll be missing things like Proto Bars and spinnies, but they can wait.
